Meet Dr. Kirsten Flynn, M.D.


Dr. Kirsten Flynn

Dr. Kirsten Flynn received her medical degree with honors from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Upon graduation, Dr. Flynn completed a residency in Dermatology at the University of New Mexico where she was co-investigator for multiple pharmacologic clinical trials. At that time, she was involved in the care of several patients with the rare condition of Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis. She co-authored a paper of case studies on the use intravenous immunoglobulin in high doses. Dr. Flynn is well published in medical literature and has presented case studies as a resident at local and national dermatology symposiums. Dr. Flynn is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

As an Arizona native, Dr. Flynn has been practicing Dermatology in the Phoenix area since 2001. She worked as an attending physician at Banner Hospital Medical Clinic for 9 years, where she was honored to serve on the Physician Quality Review Committee.

Dr. Flynn has comprehensive training and expertise in a multitude of areas including general dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Flynn helps patients navigate their cosmetic concerns to achieve the best outcome with realistic expectations.

Due to the high risk of skin cancer in Arizona, Dr. Flynn is passionate about public education of skin cancer prevention. Her presentations on skin cancer, sunscreen, and vitamin D have been recognized in television media, radio, newspaper, and magazine articles.

Dr. Flynn provides the highest quality of care to her patients with a gentle, compassionate, and laid-back approach. Her goal is make patients to feel comfortable, and that they are listened to, cared for and informed.

Dr. Flynn enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, running, and spending time with her family. She is also a member of the Phoenix Art Museum.
