Meet Dermatologist Edward M. Galiczynski
My name is Dr. Edward Galiczynski. I'm a board certified dermatologist at Arizona Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. I grew up in a small town in rural Pennsylvania. I went to undergraduate ... I got my undergraduate education at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
I subsequently went to medical school at Lake Eerie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Eerie, Pennsylvania, and then did my residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
During my time at the Cleveland Clinic, I was able to see a wide variety of dermatological conditions. It was a tertiary care center, so we got to see a lot of rare skin disorders, anywhere ranging from the most severe psoriasis to bullous disorders such as bullous pemphigoid, pemphigus vulgaris, and the like.
Whenever I was looking at practices during my final year of residency, I wanted to join a practice where I could utilize pretty much all the skills I learned while at the Cleveland Clinic, because it's almost pointless to learn all this stuff and focus on one area.
So I wanted to do general dermatology. I wanted to do some surgery. I wanted to do some cosmetics, and Arizona Dermatology offers that.
